Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a member?

You can become a member in two ways. Each venue has their own unique registration link — check their social media or website to find it. Alternatively, download the Nyx app, create an account if you don't already have one, and search for the venue you want to sign up with. Please do not e-mail Nyx with questions about how to become a member.

When will I be approved for a membership I applied for?

Applications for memberships are processed by the venues individually. They define their own criteria for approval and may reject your application for any reason. We have no control over this process and cannot provide you with insights into whether your application was approved or rejected. If you have questions about an application for membership, please contact the venue directly.

I don't remember my password. How can I change it?

If you've forgotten your password you can reset it at reset.nyxapp.net — just enter the e-mail address associated with your account and you'll receive a link that lets you select a new password. If you don't know which e-mail address you used you'll have to e-mail us at customer@nyxapp.net.

How can I change my profile info?

You can modify your basic profile info (except your name, gender and date of birth) from within our members app.

My age, name or gender is incorrect. How can I change it?

We don't let you change your age, gender or name on your own, as it would make it a lot easier for underage people to suddenly become 18 or 21. If your age or name is incorrect, you can verify your identity using your passport directly in the Nyx app, or e-mail us at customer@nyxapp.net with a picture of a government-issued photo ID where your date of birth is visible.

I got a new Facebook profile or I accidentally linked a friend's profile. How can I fix this?

In order to link your Nyx account to a new Facebook profile, we'll require your new Nyx Facebook User ID. You must have added the Nyx app to your Facebook profile, then go to Facebook Settings → Apps & websites → Nyx to find the ID. E-mail it to customer@nyxapp.net from the e-mail address associated with your Nyx account.

Can I get a refund for a ticket I bought?

We don't provide refunds as we don't control the cash flow for ticket events. You must contact the venue you bought the ticket(s) from directly. Their contact info is on your receipt and refunds are at their discretion.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly under your profile in the Nyx app. Alternatively, e-mail us at customer@nyxapp.net from the e-mail address associated with your Nyx account. We will process your request in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR.
